Research

My work focuses on the role of infrastructures in enabling - or disabling - participation in cities. I ask: Who benefits from the way urban services are organised, and who is left out? In recent years, I have been especially interested in questions of (im)mobility and the circulations of food and waste in the city. More broadly, I also consider how we might rethink the parameters of what constitutes a ‘good city’, and who gets to have a say in how it is planned and realised. My ongoing research projects are introduced here.
